A day full of fun with Issa

Issa got to spend the day with us the other day and we had such a fun filled day.
They found bugs, yes...and made them homes...here you see them with their bugs in the dump truck.

Skateboarding a new venture for both of them and yes, they have made it up to standing...woohoo!

Santa and Mrs. Clause so they tell me.
Totally worn out from Play Doh, crafts, baking cookies, skateboarding, and all that other stuff
To get a better knowledge of Mary on a donkey...we visited one!
Reading the Christmas story every day now, the little man loves it!
Love being able to make stories come alive!
Silas said the donkey was ever so soft to pet.
And then the donkey let out a yodel that Silas has been trying to replicate ever since.

Silas' mini photo shoot

We have been talking about a photo shoot since his birthday but never seemed to fit it in. Today while feeding the birds he was looking totally adorable so I asked if he wanted to run up to the ruins (Gold Museum)
and have his photo shoot.
Love all the photos we got and can I say when you ask a five year old to just keep changing his expressions
you are going to get a ton of great shots and crazy ones.
Here is the perfect one and some other shots from the day!

Another Birthday party

This party was not for Silas though but his good friend Blane.
Silas was so glad to be the same age as Blane for a month...now though he is a year older.
(Blane's party was weeks after his birthday, just realized that the sentence above didn't make sense)
Silas, Blane and Brody...getting ready to JUMP to the sky!

 Happy Birthday Blane
The sock eating blue floamy blocks...they were weird and I am surprised there have not been children lost in them. But the kids seemed to like it tons. Silas however did not like it when his sock was eaten. (Mama found it:)
 Floamy block war.
Ground level trampoline was a HUGE hit.
Blowing out his candle...the kids all around seem to be helping.
Claire smiling for the camera...she wasn't sure at first.
 Best slide around.
Grant said he was tired but would smile for one more picture for me.
This balance beam was actually Silas' favorite, he really wanted to do the high one.

Jumping boys

Each boy, each jump..has it's own individual style.
Silas, Grant, Blane and Blake might have liked to stay here jumping ALL day!
Felt like we needed score cards after each jump.

Aquarium fun

We were invited to visit the aquarium with some wonderful friends today.
Blane was spending the day with us and was able to join in on the fun as well.
Here we are the happy seven.
Silas, who up until today did NOT like petting the creatures, had a blast petting everything.
Loving the ears with his new hat. (that he picked out, great taste little man)
Albino alligator, kinda creepy looking eyes and way cool being white.
Grant, wondering why on earth I take so many photos and Silas, who is totally used to me.
Yeah, Blane is used to me too!
 Blake...the camera grew on him.
 One of my favorite shots.

 Claire looking so adorable!
Grant was still for a moment...here is that shot!
 In awe!
Last photo...see, we don't even look tired!
